Location

Izone - the industrial hub of the South Island

Izone is ideally situated at the heart of Canterbury with excellent roading networks and an adjacent railway line. It is an easy drive to Christchurch International Airport and is close to Lyttelton and Timaru, two of the South Island's largest ports.

Road

Izone is just off SH1 and only 25 minutes drive from the Christchurch CBD. Improved traffic lights and a new major intersection from the Highway leading into the Izone Southern Business Hub cater for increasing transport volumes and future growth. Izone will benefit from a four-lane extension of Christchurch’s current Southern Motorway which is being undertaken in stages.  

Sea

Izone is well placed to access both Lyttelton and Timaru Ports. Christchurch’s arterial ring road which leads to the Port of Lyttelton is the starting point for the new four-lane Southern Motorway extension.  

Air

Izone is only a short 15 minute drive from Christchurch International Airport, New Zealand’s second busiest international airport.

Rail

Izone sits alongside the main rail line and there is potential for a dedicated Izone railway siding at some time in the future.
