New Zealand's Best Beef Meal is found in Izone

Café Izone's head chef Kathryn Ahu won the Best Beef Award at the Hospitality Association of New Zealand Excellence Awards at the Airforce Museum in Wigram last week.

Café Izone was competing against three other finalists in Nelson, Wellington and Mount Maunganui for the coveted award.

Kathryn's premium beef eye fillet is cooked to order, with a creamy celeriac puree and garlic seared broccoli heads. The steak is topped with a zesty gremolata and finished with port wine jus.
